William Forney Has Track Record Of “Outstanding ” Performances WUHam C. Forney, 56, began his career with North Carolina Mutual as a part-time ordinary agent an the Greensboro district, October 15, 1966, while a student at A&T College (nbw AAT State Universi ty) hi Greensboro. After completing his work at AAT State Univer sity, he transferred to the Charlotte district as a Com bination Agent, February 4,1957. In June 1957, he was transferred to the Wash ington district in the same position. Because of his outstanding performance, Mr. Forney was appointed Sales Manager of the Pittsburgh district, April 17,1961. In June of 1965, be was by request transferred to the Charlotte district as a Combination Agent. In November of 1987, he was named Staff Manager of the Charlotte district and held that position until January 1979, when be was requested to be reassigned as a Combination Agent In order to take advantage of his experience and know ledge, be was named Field Training Supervisor, Sep tember 15, 1961 and pro s' " WiHJam Forney, field training and development assistant for North Carolina Mataal Life Insurance Co. in Dnrham. moted to Field Training & Development Assistant, July 9, 1984. Mr. Forney was born in Kannapolis, NC. He grad uated from G. W. Carver High School and AAT Uni versity with a B.S. degree in business administration and accounting.
