The muscleman's "Last Ac tion Hero" opened tn second place over the weekend with a disappointing $15.3 mil lion as Steven Spielberg's thriller about a dinosaur theme park continued set ting box-office records In its second week." "Jurassic Park" passed $100 million in nine days, the fastest ever. It has made $120.2 million to date, Elx- hlbitor Relations Co. report ed Monday. "Last Action Hero," an $80 million movie, fell short of minimum of $20 million predicted by Columbia. For comparison, Schwarzeneg ger's "Terminator 2: Judg ment Day" made $31.8 mil lion In Its first weekend in 1991. "Last Action Hero" has been savaged by critics. The competition for "Last Action Hero" grows on Fri day with the arrival of "Sleepless In Seattle," star ring Meg Ryan and Tom Hanks, and "Dennis the Menace," with Walter Mat thau. Sid Ganls, Columbia's pres ident of marketing and dis tribution, said he was none theless pleased with the performance of "Last Action Hero."
