The city of Charlotte Department of Transportation wishes to
engage a professional marketing and advertising firm to de
velop a plan to promote public transportation alternatlves-
translt, cerpool and vanpool. The firm will propose a two-
year plan to Increase awareness of these alternatives. In
crease positive perceptions of these alternatives, encourage
public support and Increase usage.
The successful proposal will outline methods, processes and
resources to be used In development of the plan. Proposals
must include:

The plan will describe professional and public relations activi
ties, media buying and monitoring, production of collateral
