13A RELIGION/The Charlotte Post October 17,1996 The Prophet’s Column This is a paid advertisement by J. M. Littie ISinner, there was no hope f ir that dying, who we talked a Mut in part one, on his death h ed. There won't be any hope or you on your death bed either. Why will you go on ijiurdering your never dying Aul? My friend, you will live i{i eternity forever, not for just a few years, but forever. Let that word "forever sink deep into your heart. There will be no comforts in hell. The rich man didn't have any there and neither will you. Your time here is just a shadow, but there you shall be forever, yes, forever. There's no water in hell, no earthly pleasures or comforts. Your heart will be forever lusting after all the old lusts, but there will be no sat isfaction. Lost forever. I can not bring back that soul from hell, and if he came back and testified to you you would not have it. You are not happy with your earthly pleasures, no matter what you do. You get this and you get that, and then something else. Never satisfied, you cannot and never will be happy in the things of this world. Listen to Isaiah 45;2; "Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is no one else." You think that you are miserable now, but if you don't obey that scripture you are going to be more miserable than you are now and more miserable than you or I could ever dream of. There's only misery looking within. Let me tell you some thing else; the soul that leans on the arm of flesh will surely perish! The world cannot help you one bit, they will only help you to hell. Yet I realize that you are so depraved you can not turn to Christ and you won't turn to Christ. You can not see, feel, nor hear the truth. And there are very few voices left to warning sinners of their soon coming doom. What about you, dear heart? Where do you want to spend eternity? You may say you don't care about hell and judgement, but you won't be in hell one second before you will change your mind, but too late then, as death finds, you. so shall eternity hold you. I've traveled the road that you are on, and it leads to hell. You don't know who you are or where you are going. May the Spirit of God stir on your dead soul, and if not you are gone. May the Lord give you the "Effectual Call," as He did me. I'll never forget that call that left me crying that I was lost. I praise the Lord for salvation in Christ. All my messages are personal so cut them off anywhere and you still have the truth looking you square in the eye. If you don't want the truth then just turn away from it and to on to hell. You're going to hell anyway, but it is my cry that the Lord will have mercy on you, espe; daily you. Visit our web page http://www.thepost.mindspring.com Golden Window & Door Store, Inc. There just wasn’t that need for correctness - wanting to right with your God.” Now, James admits even when he thinks bad thoughts, he realizes that he needs to work on himself. Being around other brothers helps keep both on the straight and narrow. “Initially when I first start ed, they said I was brain washed,” James said with a laugh. “But again when you come into the Nation of Islam, you find there is a place for you. 1 love Jesus. 1 listened to the parables.” Both expressed gratitude for the positive reaction of many of their relatives and friends. Marcus’ mother has even expressed an interest in NOI. “My cousins told me that I sounded like I had something in me that I didn’t have before,” Marcus said. “My mom has been reading some of the books also.” ■■“Actually,” James said, “I have only two living friends, one of them is incarcerated. He loves the minister and the tapes. They know I have always had the faith and the belief - I just didn’t want to do any work. They saw that the faith that I had I have just put it to work.” Both men see the occasional naysayers as proof what they are doing is right. “Trials are ordained for the believers, we learn that from Job,” James said. “It is what we have to be prepared for.” makes great reading this summer.. .and fall...and winter.
