Little NEWSLETTER-1997 PART II So many deny or try to resolve hell with atheism, you just turn aside from the truth of a literal hell. But you will not deny hell as you draw your last breath. My God has the last word, not you! It is in the best interest of your eter nal soul to believe my Lord and His Word. Believe it and be saved, disbelieve it and be damned! Yes, we hear this voice from Hell crying for mercy. What was Abraham's answer to the rich man in Hell? “Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented.” Abraham remind ed the rich man that while on earth he received good things. For the great multitude of you, the good things and the comforts you receive and enjoy now, will be all the comforts you will ever have. Did you ever stop to think about that? No, most of you don't think about that. How many have said “I'm going to have all this pleasure now because this world is all I know.” Oh, how sad is your case! And if you continue on in that realm of death, you, too, will one day lift up your eyes in hell with the rich man. Yes, Abraham told this man he had his good things on earth and Lazarus had evil. He said to him; “SON, REMEMBER.” Perhaps the most awful thing about hell is memory. Your memory of all the time God gave you space to repent and turn to Christ. What did you do with it? Like this man in hell you were sat isfied with the good things of this life, not knovring nor car ing that you were eternity bound and that you were poor, blind, and naked (Rev. 3). Your eternity bound soul needs a covering which is the righteousness of Christ, but you care nothing about the Lord Jesus Christ. Wither bound, fnend? Abraham went on to further tell the rich man; ‘Toetween us and you there is a great gulf fixed:” My friend, did you ever know that there is a great gulffixed between you and the Lord? If you have never seen and felt that gulf you are not saved! I don’t care how much you profess to know the Lord, if you have never agonized over the great gulf between you and the Lord, you don’t know my Lord! Now you let that soak in. You profess to know the Lord, but you don't know this gulf I'm talking about. Engagements Brown and Bryant Brown and Bryant University in Richmond and a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority.
