They soon made the changeover from merchandising to food vending. “We thought food concessions were easier,” Cook and Culbreth said. The company started doing small events to establish a track record and what began as a part time avocation became a full time vocation. “One of our big breaks was when we got the (Panthers) and became vendor to feed workers who not leave the work site for lunch,” Cook said.
