one took it for real. Although DSS
staff folks complained they
weren’t told straight up about the
threat, Jacobson defends the
countys policy to keep the evacu
ation on the down-low. To make
sure no one would get hurt, a sec
ond evacuation was called 15
minutes before the caller’s threat
was supposed to become reality.
Jacobsen said he and a posse of
security folks went in and
searched the joint again.
‘Tm not going to be the one in
there to see the building blow up
at 3 o’clock,” Jacobsen said.
