Harrill is author of "Makeeda, Queen of Sheba," which will be available at $15. Also on the open house pro gram are the dance group S.O.A.R. and Nay Howell, the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools minority achieve ment director. The open house will be from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. There are 38 minority achievement students in grades 3-5 at Oaklawn. The program includes any African American, Native American, Asian or Hispanic student achieving above grade level. Among contributors to the Oaklawn open house is Anntony's Caribbean Restaurant.
