The Prophet’s Column ’This is a paid advertisement by J.M. Little THE PROPHETS COLUMN INC. 9626 FELDBANK DRIVE CHARLOTTE, NC, 28216- OCTOBER - NOVEMBER 1997 PARTH It matters not what church you are a member of, if you have never been awakened to your LOST condition you are not saved and you are on the road to hell. You could go to hell right now! Your being a mem ber of the Methodist church, or Baptist church, or any church is no sign you are saved. No! Your being religious is no sign you are saved. Some of you reli gious leaders are going on teaching, preaching, witness ing, and doing great missionary work, but you must give up all your teaching, preaching, and religious duties before you can be saved. You must give up yoiu- church before you can be saved. You have to be bom again (John 3), and made a new creation in Christ Jesus my Lord. Have you been bom again? Have you been made a new creation in Christ Jesus? You say you have, but Christ is not the center of your testimo ny. You don't talk about what He means to your heart, you are talking about church activ ities. You don't talk about the SACRIFICE. You have never told others about what Christ means to your heart. No, you have not. But you say you are saved. Your heart is deceived! Foryoutogooninyourpresent condition means that one day you will lift up your eyes in Hell. Oh, may my heavenly Father have mercy on you and awaken you to the fact you are a LOST SINNER. My friend, you would give ten thousand worlds just to be awakened to your lost condition. That's right, oh, if you only knew my Lord. My sinner friend, pray for the discovery of your soul. If you knew what you were pray ing for, you wouldn't pray for it. But you must discover the lost and ruined condition of your poor soul here or there, and it would be far better for you to discover your lost condition here than in eternity There is hope for you now, but if you go out into eternity without Christ, there is no hope for you. And let me say in closing this letter, if you go through this life and fail to come to know Christ, it can be said of you as it was said of Judas: “It had been bet ter for that man that he had never been bom” Will that be said of you? May you turn to the Lord before He comes. As the world turns and grows more and more wicked and vio lent we know the coming of our Lord is very near. And the Middle East pot is boiling again as we come down to the end of another 2,000 years. Every 2,000 years an event takes place that changes the course of man's history WORLD WIDE. We are very near the end of another 2,000 years and look for the coming of my Lord any moment. Are you looking for Him to come? His Coming is my only Hope as I sit here before this typewriter. And I ask the Lord for wisdom and grace to WRI'TE 'THE TRUTH, warning men and women of their coming destmction if they don't repent and turn to Christ. I know we are living in the CLOSING DAYS, or better yet, MOMENTS just before our Lord comes. I may be talking to someone about the COMING of the Lord when he comes, and you'll be rebelling against it, and in the "twinkling of an eye" you'll take your eye off me and then look back but I won't be there. My Lord came for me when you took your eye off me. My friend, turn to Christ. Your Gospel Editor and Teacher, JJVI.
