So how is your Ufe? Are you hving a life that is pleas ing to the Father? Are you being a rephca of Jesus? Do you realize that what’s on the head flows dovm to the hody? Are you teaching yoiu' congregation to stand on the foundation of the word hy being an example and standing on the word for yourself? Are you truly qualified to stand in the office of pastor? The Bihle tells us that without a vision the people perish. What is the vision of your ministry? Is your vision hiblically based? Do you have scripture to hack up your vision? When you look at your ministry are you leading the people based on the word? Are you teaching them not to compromise? The Bible says that you are to either be hot or cold. Are you teacliing your flock to go aU the way? Or are you looking over the things that God has revealed to you that they are doing and not bring ing them to a point of correc tion? You do know that you are accoimtable for anything that God reveals to you. We aU want to go before the Father and hear Him say well done my good and faithful servant. It requires you spending time in fellow ship with the Father. Just as Moses had to go up on the mount and spend time with the Father to get direction for the people. So it is for modem day pastors. It is a requirement for you to spend time with the Father to get direction for your flock. The office of pastor is not to be taken lightly. It is an office that is highly account able to God. It is a place that requires you to make distinc tions. Tb draw lines. Tb live a life without compromise. It is an office that requires you to spend time with God and to know the word of God. It’s not a position where you can stand alone. You always need to have God with you. It is a position that requires the ability to dis cern and a life of no compro mise. It is a position that requires intimacy with the Father in order to get direc tion for leading. Tb be a pas tor you must break the bar rier of intimidation. services there averages 120. LITTLE - TEACHER The greatest thing in all this world is just to know Christ as your Lord and your Saviour. I’ll never cease to thank and praise the Lord for awakening me to my lost condition (John 16:7-11, Luke 19:10) and saving me by His grace. If you are saved you’ll tell me the same thing. Are you saved? Is Christ real to you? There are some whom God will not save. I’ve been under the TRUTH now since back in the very early sixties. It may have been about 1960 or 1961, somewhere back during those early years. That would put it back more than 40 years. I tuned in to the radio that Sunday and heard my late pastor, L. R. Shelton from New Orleanp, preaching on THE VOICE OF TRUTH over the station when it was called the NEW WAYS. He said he was going to preach on THE DOOM OF RUSSIA. That was the subject the Lord used to get my attention. But it was much later before the Holy Spirit carried the Word home to my heart, opening my heart as He did Lydia’s (Acts 16:14) and letting me see that I had never believed on Christ to the salvation of my soul. And it was much much later before the Holy Spirit revealed Christ to my heart (Matthew 16:17) as my Lord and Saviour. For more than 40 years I have seen souls go out into eternity under the truth and wake up in hell. They would not have the truth from God’s Word about their old wicked and totally depraved hearts. If you will not have the TRUTH, God says of you; “LET THEM ALONE.” Many here over the 32 years since God saved me, I have had to leave alone. And you have been reprobated for hell and judgment. Many that came up with me in religion, I have had to leave alone because you have pitted your will against God.
