Minister turned life around

“I want everyone who reads
this book to know, that no
matter how dark and bleak
life may seem at times, that
God is able to bring you
through,” he said.
Woods said that he felt by
writing the book, more people
would receive his message.
He didn’t worry that he told
too much of his life. “Minis
ters paint a perfect picture
about their lives from the
pulpit. We don’t talk about
our past,” he said.
Woods wants to use his
story as a warning to other
people on the same path that
led him to prison.
“I also want everyone to
realize that no matter what
sins we have committed, if
we earnestly repent, God is
willing to forgive us,” he said.
Before he wrote the book.
Woods said he prayed about
it. “I was inspired by God to
write this book,” he said. “I
don’t get any glory from my
past.”
