5:00 PM on August 19, 2005 for each of the above listed bid packages.
Electronic submissions of the pre-qualification form are acceptable
followed-up with an original via mail or over-night delivery. Contact Karla
Hyde with FN Thompson @ 704-523-0515 or hydek@bek.com for a copy
of the FNT Pre-Qualification form. MAVBE firms are encouraged to
participate in both the pre-qualification and bid process.
Preliminary bid documents and a description of the project will be available
for inspection during normal business hours after August 3, 2005 at FN
Thompson (Charlotte Office), AGC - Asheville, NC and Greenville, SC,
McGraw-Hill Dodge - Greenville, SC and Minority Contractors
Association - Charlotte.
CONSTRUCTION MANAGER AT RISK
The University of North Carolina at Charlotte is accepting proposals for
Construction Manager at Risk for the Bioinformatics Building until Friday
September 16, 2005 at 1:00pm. Submittals shall be addressed to Joyce
Clay, Facilities Management, UNC Charlotte, 9201 University City
, Boulevard, Charlotte, NC 28223-0001.
UNC Charlotte is seeking a Construction Manager @ Risk Contractor for a
new' Bioinformatics Building to be located on the Charlotte Research
Institute campus. University. Qualifications Questionnaire, Instructions to
Proposers and other project information are available from: The
University’s web site at http://facilities.uncc.edu
A Mandatory Pre - proposal meeting will be held August 31, 2005 at 1pm
in the Cone Center Room 210.
Women and minorities are encouraged to participate in this project.
Additional information may be obtained form Dan Ziehm, the University of
North Carolina at Charlotte HUB liaison.
The University reserves the unqualified right to reject any and all proposals.
