Although the starting lineup has not been named, the i uniforms have be:n issued to the I prospective squad from which the team will be picked. This has been a great undertaking and the boys deserve some response to th?ii- efforts to have their own baseball diamond. They hope to have '.nany followers during the coming season. The official badge of the club will be A gold "C" key. The constitution has been pre- =ient:d to President Bunn and i'.as received his official o.k. The club was organized by the athletes "to foster and maintain r-mong the members a spirit of frat rnali.sm, a spirit of mutual and moral suipport to instill a love for, and ioyailty of, good feel ing and fellov.'siiip throughout the campus.'’ Mem‘bership to the club is ob tained by any varsity letterman approved by athhtic com mittee cf the college, who has participated in one or more sea sons in either football, basketball, tasiball, track, tennis, or golf. Everyone is looking forward to having water in th? pool .soon. Swimming will not be taught here this year, but it is hcped to have classes next year. It is d3- .'ired that Chowan College can before too much longer partici pate in intercollegiate swimming. A heating system is needed for year around swimming.
