Walter Sykes Our All-State Trainer Our boy is a combination doc tor, nurse, intern, clubhouse lawyer, house mother, muscle man (with no muscles, all fat). Whipping boy for the coach, spy. and player’s friend. No one could work the hours he does for the trouble he gets. He is an ex athlete himself. Played half a season until he got hurt. Between halves is his biggest workout. He’s got about 20 minutes to patch up 25 men. He’ll make a fast diagnosis and patch every one up. (Never had a day’s medical training in his life.) He gives treatments to make the lame not walk, but run for their lives. Our All-State trainer is Walter Sykes. Congratulations on a job well done from the boys on the team.
