Mrs. McKeithen Is Appointed Dean of Women A counselor for the University of North Carolina at Greensboro with a varied background of experience in business, education and journalism is now Dean of Women at Chowan College. At VNC-G for Three Years She is Mrs. Dell Landreth McKeith- an, who served with the administration of UNC-G for three years. Previously she taught in the Forsyth county school system for eight years after having served as an industrial editor for R. J. Reynolds Tobacco Company and having taught in several other schools, including the Veterans’ school, being a counselor during four of her years of public school teaching. Educational Background Mrs. McKeithan earned the Bache lor of Arts degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and the Master of Arts degree in English from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. She has also studied at Salem College, Randolph-Macon College, Wake Forest University, Northwestern University and Appalac hian State University.
