It didn't take Cindy Howell, freshman from Eure, long to discover the value
of studing in Chowan's Whitaker Library. A graduate of Gates County High
School, Cindy reports she enjoys the use of the many resource materials in
the library, and along with other students have access to over 51,000
volumes, and the number is steadily growing.
