Admissions at the University of Mississippi,
and lives in Oxford, Miss.
Tom BaUance teaches at Alliance Christian
High School and is working on his master's
degree at O.D.U. He resides in Portsmouth,
Va.
Ronald G. Alderman is married to Bonnie
Alderman, and they have two children Kim
and Rebecca. Ronald received his B.S., 1971,
from Virginia Commonwealth University. In
1975, he received his D.D.S. from MCU
School of Dentistry. His practice is located in
Amelia, Va., where he and his family live.
CLASS OF 1970
Tom Sliceloff and his wife. Becky, reside in
Richmond, Va., where he owns Sunglass
Glamour and she is a sales representative
with Aetna Life Insurance.
Mary Louis Stevenson is an elementary
school librarian in Havelock, N.C., and lives
in Elizabeth City. She is working on her
master’s degree in Library Science.
CLASS OF 1971
Marvin Daugherty and his wife, Alice,
have one son, Walt. A native of Kinston,
Marvin is an instructor in sociology at
Luther College, and is enrolled in the doctoral
program at North Texas State University.
Joseph Michael Tate (’71) and his wife,
Janet Hermann (’72), have one son, Joseph,
“Joey”, Greg Tate, bom September 22,1977.
The Tates live in Williamston, N.C.
Stephen Marlowe is married to Barbara
Long Marlowe and they live in Beaufort,
N.C. He completed his master's degree at
Clemson University where he assisted in
P.I.C.A. curriculum project. He is now
employed as a graphic communications in
structor with the Beaufort-Jasper Education
Career Center.
Susan Hunt Shifflett and her husband,
David, are parents of identical twin girls
bom July 17, 1977. They reside in Poquoson,
Va. David works for the Virginia State Air
Pollution Control Board.
CLASS OF 1972
Duncan Perry Hughes, Jr. and his wife,
Yvonne, reside in Colerain, N.C. He is an in
ventory control technician with Harrington
Manufacturing Co., and she is a secretary at
Roanoke-Chowan Hospital in Ahoskie, N.C.
Thomas McNear is married to Faye Van
Dyke McNear, and they have one daughter,
Carrie Shannon. Thomas is a Lieutenant in
Military Intelligence, US Army. The family
lives in Hampton, Va.
Jane Dilday Hedrick and her husband
George, live in 'Thomasville, N.C. She is
employed at Rex Plastics, and he is general
manager of Austin Printing Compimy of
Thomasville.
Olivia Winslow Mundie is a bookeeper and
designer for Edith Hugo Florist. Her hus
band, Keith, is a receiving clerk with Earle's
Market in Hobbsville, where they live. They
have one daughter, Kimberly Ann.
CLASS OF 1973
Marion Beeks Carlton ('73), is married to
Richard Carlton ('73), and they live in Lan
caster, S.C. He is a management training
director for J.P. Stevens & Co., and she is an
orthodontist techician.
Linda Leigh Harmon is a dental hygienist
for Dr. Robert Penny in Rock Hill, S.C.
Mark Woodard Sutton, a native of Wilson,
N.C., has been named director of member ser
vices for Carolina Farm and Power Equip
ment Dealers Assoc.
Deborah Gunter Bradley is married to
Steven Bradley, and they live in Wendell,
N.C. She is a secretary at Ray Holmes, Agent
State Farm Insurance, and he is employed as
a manufacturing engineer trainee for Square
D. Company.
Curtis Arnold Williamson is a student of
veterinary medicine at Tuskegee Institute.
His wife, Kathy, is an executive secretary
with the Auburn Housing Authority.
Charles Bradford Lawrence is married to
Paula Kierule Lawrence and they have one
son, Scott Bradford, bora July 14, 1977.
They live in Cabin John, Md.
Charles E. Kirkpatrick lives in Locust, N.C.
and is pastor of the Locust Presbyterian
Church.
CLASS OF 1974
Gayle Lvey Anderson is married to Scott
Anderson.
Susan Bolton Strickland (’74), and her hus
band, Charles Strickland (’71), are living in
Rich Square, N.C. He is a housing specialist
with Perdue Farms, Inc., and she is a teacher
at Northeast Academy.
Rich G. Butler (’74) is a teacheroach in
the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools. His
wife, Delores Gaskins Butler (’74) is a nurse
at Charlotte Memorial HospitaL They live in
Charlotte.
Linda Butler Jenkins and her husband,
Charles, reside in Roanoke Rapids, N.C. He is
a salesman for Murray Biscuit Co.
Roy John Palo lives in Newark, Del He at
tends the University of Delaware and farms.
Miley Williams Glover is an accountant
with Arthur Anderson and Co. in Charlotte.
His wife, Jan, is an accoimtant with Peat,
Marwick and Mitchell and Co., and the
Glovers reside in Charlotte.
Joe Emery, II is married to Patti Shewbert
Edwards Emery. He is employed by Gar
rett's Funeral Home, and she works in the In
tensive Care Unit at Roanoke-Chowan
Hospital, Ahoskie, N.C. They live in Mur
freesboro.
CLASS OF 1975
Wanda Davidson Bunn (’75) and her hus
band, Greg Bunn (’74), live in Wilson, N.C.,
where he farms and she is an inventory assis
tant at Firestone Tire and Rubber Co.
Melinda Bolton Morris (’75) is a secretary
at Progressive Medical Group. Inc. Her hus
band, Andrew Morris (’74) is a charter boat
captain. ’They live in Virginia Beach, Va.
Brian L. Tonnacliffyata be^n commissioned
a second lieutenant in the U.S. Marine C^rps
and is presently undergoing training at the
Officers Basic School, Quantico. Va.
Sue Clary lives in Newport News, Va. and
