Mrs. Mary Alston Keeter, Class of 1914, enjoys
reminisching about her student days while showing
her 1913 Chowan annual to several student
hosteses. Spring Festival was the occasion of her
first visit to her Alma Mater "in many years, " she
reported. She said she felt at home when she saw
McDowell Columns, the only building on campus
when she was a student. This month marks the
65th anniversary of her graduation. A Powellsville
native, she now lives in Kings Mountain.
