' % All-American Signs With University of South Carolina First team All-American defensive end Hal Henderson of Charleston, S. C., a two-year starter with the Breves, signs to ploy football at the University of South Carolina. During the 1979 season Henderson made 87 tackles and a team-high 15 quarterback sacks for the Braves. He also recovered three fumbles and made one interception. Henderson is a graduate of Garrett High School and the son of Mrs. Earthalee Henderson. He is flanked by coaches Dan Surface, left, defensive coordinator, and Jim Garrison, head coach.
