Graphic Arts Alumni hold reunion A special reunion was held for alumni of the Depart ment of Graphic Communications on April 20, and in conjunction with the 1985 Spring Festival ceremonies. The returning alumni toured the new Homer Graphic Communications Center, and renewed friendships with former classmates and faculty members. Among those attending were: ROBERT E. McClellan, aass of 1971, who lives in Harrisburg. He is a quality control coordinator for Duke Power Company’s printing operations. DAVID G. FLETCHER, Class of 1981, of Glen Allen, Va., who is now associated with Capital City Vending. SUSAN M. HENDERSON, Class of 1984, resides in Raleigh, where she is acompositor with SAS Institute. BETH COWAN, Class of 1984, is currently enrolled at East Carolina majoring in Graphic Communica tions, and resides in Greenville. RON THOMPSON, Class of 1980, serves the First Baptist Church of Chase City, Va., as Minister of Education and Youth. MIKE RITCHIE, Class of 1980, is the manager of Graphics 3 in Glen Allen, Va. RICK MERRITT, Class of 1972, now resides in Moorestown, New Jersey. Rick is sales represen tative for Color Graphics, Delran, New Jersey. NANCY LOY PENDLETON, Class of 1980, is pro gram manager, FSD, of Northern Telecom, Inc., in Springfield, Va. She lives in Chantilly, Va. BENNIE BRIDGEWATER, Class of 1979, lives in Richmond, Va., where he is associated with W. M. Brown and Son, commercial printers. / Attend Reunion at Spring Festival AARON CARTER, Class of 1979, lives in Richmond, Va., and serves Henrico County Schools as an In dustrial Arts instructor. DR. M. SCOTT WHITE, Class of 1980, lives in Wood- bridge, Va., and has recently entered private practice as a Doctor of Chiropractic. DIANNE CAMPBELL SMITH, Qass of 1972, lives in Graham with her husband and three children, and continues to be associated with the Blue Bell Printing Services as a platemaker. JOEY GARDNER, Class of 1972, lives in Raleigh, and is associated with the Garner News as a photographer, and is also involved with the produc tion and circulation operations of the newspaper. PATRICK OWENS, Class of 1976, is an estimator with Wradon Printing Services, and lives in Alexan dria, Va. TOM RICHARDSON, Class of 1967, is President and General Manager of Tte Bedford Bulletin, Inc., Bed ford, Va. BELINDA ELMORE, Class of 1981, is associated with Morgan Printers, of Kinston. TRACY COX, Class of 1982, lives in Cove City, and is an operations technician with Monte Printing of Greenville. DILENE LeBREUX, Class of 1981, lives in Virginia Beach, Va., and is technical services assistant with Nissan Motor Corp. SUSAN PATE, Class of 1979, lives in Kinston, and is news editor and chief photographer with PAB Publishing. WENDY THOMAS, Class of 1982, lives in Durham and is a supervisor oi the typesetting department of Edwards and Broughton, Inc., of Raleigh. STEVEN HICKS, Class of 1978, lives in Netcong, New Jersey, and is the laboratory director of Kast and Ehimer Printing Inks. JOHN DUCKLES, Class of 1981, is second pressman on a six color Heidelberg web press at L. P. Thebalt Company, in Netcong, New Jersey. RAYMOND JAMES, Class of 1960, lives in Raleigh, where he is marketing director for Colorcraft Cor poration. STEPHEN JOHNSON, Qass of 1984, is Pressroom Supervisor of Progressive Printing Company, in Triangle, Va. BARRY WOODS, Qass of 1983, lives in Greensboro, and is currently enrolled at Appalachian State University. MARK MASSINGILL, Qass of 1984, lives in Easley S. C., and is a photographer with Studio Ross. DAVID MAAS, Qass of 1975, is service manager with Spruce Industries, Inc., of Springfield, New Jersey. Both Mr. and Mrs. Merritt graduated with the Class of 1972, and presently reside in Moorestown, New Jersey. Rick is a sales representative with Color Graphics of Delran, New Jersey. Former Chowan trustee Mrs. Lessie H. Roberts, of Rolesville, died on Dec. 26,1984. Mrs. Roberts most recently com pleted a four-year term as trustee in 1976. She and her husband, the late William C. Roberts, founded in 1934 and operated the Wake Monu ment Company. President Bruce Whitaker said that in the death of Mrs. Roberts, Chowan had lost “a very good friend and supporter. Over the years, she was generous in her sup port of the college’s development program and assisted a number of students to attend Chowan.
