Day
Beautiful, warm fall weather draped the campus in
October when many parents and friends were on
campus for the Parents’ Day activities of the Fall
Semester.
Students and their parents were honored at a
reception in Lakeside Student Center and were
greeted by the President of the College and other
officials, along with faculty and staff. The parents
then had an opportunity to visit with individual
professors to learn of the academic progress of their
sons and daughters in various classes.
Parents, students, faculty members and administrative officers crowded Lakeside Student
Center for the annual Fall Parents’ Day. The reception was held prior to parents touring the
campus and visiting individual professors in their offices.

Parents and other guests were welcomed to the campus at a reception in Lakeside
Student Center. Members of the receiving line included Dr. and Mrs. Bruce E.
Whitaker, Dean B. Franklin Lowe, Dean R. Clayton Lewis, Dean Earl Dilday and
Pam Mullins, President of the Student Government Association.
