Bartlett, secretary of the Eastern Carolina Chamber of Com merce, who recently visited this sec tion. There is no doubt about the amount of good that this train will do the section as a whole in convincing the -average farmer that a few cows, chickens and hogs will add to his net earnings. ^ , _ The train will open the schedule at Selma, Tuesday morning, August 5, at 9 o’clock, and will be in Sanford from 2 P. M„ to 6 P. M., August 7th. At least 5,000 people should see the train at this point. The train will be equipped with amplifiers and loud speakers so tjiat these peakers can be heard by 10,000 people out in the open. The best exhibits ob tainable will be on the cars, and ev ery phase of the educational side of well-balanced livestock program will ie urged by the speakers. The East ra Carolina Chamber of Commerce is intensely interested in the suc ess of this movement, and 100.000 is the goal set by the Officials that ihould see this train at the 37 points visited in Eastern Carolina.
