Waa fix-Sheriff of Pitt County. D. M. Mooring, age <9, ex-sheriff of Pitt county, died at Aurora late Sunday night. He is survived by his wife and several children. The funer al services were held yesterday after noon at Bonnerton. He la well known throughout both Pitt and 'Beaufort county and his death is mourned by a host of friends.
