Chase Is Caswell Visitor S. O. Chase, owner of the Caswell-Carolina Corporation, was a business visitor at Ft. Caswell during the past week-end. Following a conference with H H. Thomas, manager of the Ft Caswell development. Mr. Chase announced that plans for renovation of the building will move farward as rapidly as possible. He returned to his home in Sanford, Fla., Sunday. Waccamaw 4-II Club Girls Meet The Junior 4-H Club of Waccarnaw School met in the school Auditorium at 10'clock Thursday, with 10 members present. The meeting was called to order anci the secretary called the Roll and read the minutes of the last meeting. Mrs. Marion S. Poshei taught three songs, "Are You Sleeping," "Cheer Up" and "Rheumation." Members decided on Scrap books and got four leaf clover stamps. The club adjourned to meet again on April 12th. That all resolutions and orders in conflict herewith are hereby fl epealed, and this resolution shall be in full force and effect immediately I ipon its adoption, and shall not be submitted to the vdters of the county. I The foregoing resolution has been introduced and a. sworn statement has con filed under the County Finance Act. showing the assessed valuation I f the county to be $7,008,486.00, and the net debt for school purposes, in- B luding the proposed bonds to be $376,000.00. and the net debt for oLher than fl Chool purposes including the proposed bonds to be $1,779,000.00.
