Mrs. Eva Newton, of Wilmington attended the funeral of Miss Blanche Newton last week and also viisted Mrs. Eva Wolfe. Jack Oliver, who is employed with the Imperial Life Insurance Co. and located at Elizabeth City, spent the week end here with his family. Egale Hubbard and William Sellers, of Fort Bragg, spent the week end here with relatives. Miss Evelyn Autrey, who has been visiting in Wilmington, has returned home. Mr. and Mrs. W. R. McAuley and son. Reid. of Wilmington spent the past week end here with- Mrs. George P. Howey. Malcom Frink and David Watson. students at E. C. T. C., Greenville, have arrived home for the Christmas holidays. Edward Taylor arrived home today from Davidson College to spend the Christmas holidays here with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. C. Ed TayJor.
