His guests played with toys ] until they were asked into the j dining room where they had ice cream and cake. Favors were | pink baskets filled with mints i and all-day suckers. The mothers ! were served cake with cocoa i cola. Bobby received a number of gifts from his guests. THOMAS HOSTESS I On Saturday afternoon at Caswell Lodge Mrs. H. H. Thomas I entertained her friends at a bridge and Chinese checkers par- j tv. Tables -were Dlaced on the! wide porch and flowers in bowls and baskets were used to decorate for the occasion. Mrs. William Styron was high scorer among those playing bridge and she received a set of silver corn holders. Mrs. Frank Niernsee, Sr., was high in Chinese checkers and received a flower container with holder. Mrs. H. C. COrlette was low bridge scorer and received a miniature flower bowl. Low score in Chinese checkers was held by Mrs. R. S. Harrison who was presented with a pair of floral plaques. Mrs. Pearce Cranmer also received floral plaques for bingo prize. Mrs. Thomas was assisted with the serving by Mrs. Dan Sadler and Mrs. Sammy Odum.
