The meeting was presided over iy the president, Mrs. J. E. Dodon. , The group discussed and nade a list of the articles that hey plan to include in the comriunity loan kit and a committee /as appointed to get prices of hese articles from several soures and to report on this at the lext meeting. The president also ppointed a nominating commitee for the club officers for the ears 1942-43. A demonstration on "First Aid" /as given by the agent, Miss lakes, at which time those preent practiced tying some of the nost useful types of bandages, 'hese they felt would be very seful in the occurence of home ccidents. For the year 1941 staistics show that 32,000 persons /ere killed in home accidents /hich makes one realize the im-l ibrtance of first aid in the home.
