C., spent the week end at home with her family Miss Margaret Ann Reach of the Supply community spent part of the past week here with her aunt, Mrs. G. D Robinson. Misses Barbara and Frances Myers and brothers, David and Donald Myers, of Racoon Ford, Va., are spending this week here with friends. Mr, Myers will join them later in the week. The family moved from Southport to Virginia about six years ago. Mrs. J. A, Gilbert and daughter, Jean, of Raleigh, are spending a few days here with Mrs Gilbert's parents, Mr. and Mrs G. D. Robinson. Misses Shirley Robinson and Juanita Seaz of Wilmington are spending part of this week here with Mr. and Mrs. George Whatley. Mr. and Mrs. Phillip Golden spent Thursday with Mr. and Mrs. Thompson McRackan on Walden's Creek. Mr. and Mrs. Marshall Fulwood and son, James, of West Palm Beach, Fla., spent this week with Mrs? Lions Club To Have Labor Day Program With next week's regular meeting date of the Lions Club falling on Labor Day, the time for this meeting has been moved up to Tuesday, September 4th, at 6:00 p. m. This meeting will be held -at Trinity Methodist church and a special Labor Day program is being arranged with Judge Heniy L. Stevens, former National Commander of the American Legion, as the speaker.
