Zibelin of Town Creek was the scene of the 25th wedding anniversary cele bration of Mr. and Mrs. S. O. Cra ven last week. The home was de corated throughout with beauti ful spring and summer flower ar rangements. The dining room table was centered with a lovely wed ding cake. During the evening many friends of the couple called to ex tend their congratulation. Approx imately 70 guests were present. Out-of-town guests were Mrs. C. F. Stevenson Present ed Delightful Program Here Thursday The Southport Choral Club, comprised of a group of four teen. women voices under the direction of Ben C. Stevenson, presented a concert Thursday evening in the high school audi torium. The chorus showed great ver satility in their performance, and several of the numbers with which they delighted their audl enee were unusually difficult. The proceeds from this program were divided equally between the Southport high school band and the fire truck fund. It included the following numbers: "The Green Cathedral", Hahn, chorus; "Sea Fever," Andrews, Mrs. H. C. Corlette; "The Naughty Lit tle Clock",. Scout Troop On Visit To Beach Ten Senior Girl Scouts of Troop No. 20 at High Point, and four of their adult leaders, spent the past week at the Ocean View Tavern at Holden Beach. All of the Scouts have been members ten years and are fully versed in scoutcraft. They stated Saturday that they were having a wonder ful time. The leaders were Betsy Saunders, Betty Taylor, Genevive Boyton, Betty Gene Alley. Scouts in the 'party were, Nan cy Lewis, Nancey Oglesby, Nora Bundy, Ann Hall, Patricia Mas sey, Jo Ann Rothrock, Mary Lou Dillon, Sally Trepke, Barbar? Cranford and Carlene Kaneer.
