h ph Hufham Gets Out Booklet On Study Of Miraculous Healing] 15 Htifham, of Delco, * been writing for this (or nearly a quarter of a . ^anie interested recent ^despread reports of mira , healings and has written a 32-page bootlet on his findings,' entitled "Christ, The Dean Of All Physicians." Mr. Hufham says that he was fortunate in securing the assis-j tance of the Rev. Carl Henry, noted western evanglist who col loborated with him in gathering the material and in the writing of the book. The booklet, which is just com ing off the press, contains testi monies of many leading doctors as well as the testimonies of such outstanding evanglists as the Rev. Carl Henry, of Oakland Califarnia; and the Rev. Oral Roberts, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, who recently preashed in the Pentecostal Holi ness church in Whiteville. Thumbs Way To Mexico And Back Quincy Scarboro Now En joying Cool And Quiet Vacation At Long Beach Folowing Extended Tour , Using his thumb to gain trans- j portation Quincy Scarborough, 19-1 year old University of North Car-; olina student, has returned to j Long Beach from a trip that took j him through North and South 1 Carolina, Georgia, Alabama, Mis- j sissippi, Louisianna and Texas to Mexico City, Mexico. The three weeks tour depleted his financial resources only $45.00. j This, he says, he spent for food j and places to sleep. He checked hotels and filling stations for tourists \frho might be bound in the" general direction that he was heading. He says he i found them very responsive to | requests for rides. The entire journey was -made with such tourists, exccptipg only one 70 mil? ride that he caught on a truck. He described things in Mexico as appearing rather miserable. It was hot down there and it ap peared to him that the rich were growing richer and the poor poor er. ; ' ! Game Fish Are Finding Food Presence Of Plenty Of Men haden On Which To Feed [ Believed. To Account . For] Reluctance To Take Bait | The record number of men-[ haden now teeming, in the waters of the Brunswick coa*t 'is be*j lieved to account" for the fact! that game fish: have been rather! indifferent to taking trolliijg lurei during the past several weeks. <? Menhaden are a favorite food for all 'game fish. This y6ar tlie waters" all along the coast have been1 swarming with them. Larga and small -schools are everywhere and the blues, mackeral and big game fish have no trouble taking all they care'to eat. In addition to'the normal num ber of, game fish !in these waters it is, helieved that the unprece dented number of schools of men haden have also attracted many tbig fish not usually caught here. (When the menhaden teghj ,t<V: buncft moi*e heavily and are not' so convenient to the areas in\ which the game fish stay, sports men should find the best fishing they have had here? in years. i All who know regarding sport i and commercial fishing are united, in agreeing that the excess of j menhaden foretells plenty of game 1 fish of all sorts. The sport fish- j ermen should really find some-j thing that is interested in their plugs in the near future. 1 ? | Visitor Likes Local Beaches Prominent Army Man h , Favorably Impressed With Natural Advantages Of Long Beach Colonel Charles J. Sumner and son, residents of Rock Falls City, ^ N. Y., old friends of Captain J. j B. Church, were his overnight. visitors during the past week. On a visit to Long Beach with Captain Church the visitors were entthu?iastic at the growth the place has made and the possi bilities for the future. He. stated that the Beach compared favor ably with the most widely known beaches. His parting expression was, "How very lovely is your Long Beach."
