Free Supper At Legion Meeting Commander E. H. Redwine, American Legion Post 247 at Shallotte, urges all members of the post to attend the regular meeting Friday night. Preceding the meeting the auxiliary will serve a free supper in the hut beginning at 7 o'clock for all members and their wives. Mrs. Redwine, president of the auxiliary, also states that Friday night is the time for the regular monthly meeting. She says there will be plenty of food for all guests. ? The American Legion is spon soring Nick Ponos and his orches tra for a dance at the American Legion hut September 14th. Singing Convention Planned At Bolivia The Womans Missionary Society of Bolivia Baptist church is spon soring a staging convention at Bolivia high school on Sunday afternoon, September 11, begin ning at 2 o'clock.
