The hour will be 7:30 o'clock. This will be Rev. Mr. Waggett's fourth sermon on ath letics and life. ON VACATION Dr. and Mrs. M. H. Rourk and two children have been on vaca tion the past week. They drove throughout the east and were in New York for the Notre Dame Carolina football game Saturday.1 ; Local 4-H Club Elects Officers j The 4-H club at the Southport I school has recently elected Joan ; Ramsauer, president; Barbara He iwett, vice-president; Joe Price, | secretary-treasurer and Polly : Robinson and Betty Habon, re porters. County Agent A. S. Knowles ' and Miss Corine Green, the home j agent:, are serving instructors. The young folks say that they appreciate the interest and help i of these workers. Both the in structors and members of the club are looking forward to hav ing a very successful year. Al ready the number of club mem bers has increased greatly over last year, when there was only Miss Greene as instructor for the girls.
