I DEDICATION CEREMONIES for the First lApostolic Church of Southport will be held next ^Friday and Saturday. The church, with an at tractive stone fronting, is located on West West Street. NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON OAK ISLAND BRIDGE Project 8.1313502 Brunswick County The North Carolina State Highway Commission will hold a public hearing on the proposed new bridge and approaches over the Intra-Coastal Waterway on NC 133. The new bridge will be located on the west side of the existing bridge and will have a vertical clearance of 65'. The approaches begin on NC 133 in the vicinity of the north city limit of Yaupon Beach and will tie into existing NC 133 again approximately 0.1 mile south of SR 1102. A set of plans setting forth the above and a copy of the Environmental Impact Statement is available for public review and copying at the State Highway Commission Division Office, in Wilmington, N.C. The hearing will be held on May 24, 1972, at 3:30 p.m., in the Brunswick County - Southport High School, in Southport, N.C. North Carolina. The hearing will consist of an explanation of the proposed bridge and approaches, right of way requirements and procedures, relocation advisory assistance, and State-Federal Relationship. The hearing will be open to those present for any statements, questions, comments, and-or submittal of material pertaining to the proposed project. Additional material may be submitted for a period of ten days from the date of the hearing to Mr. R.W. McGowan, Assistant Chief Engineer-Preconstriction, North Carolina State Highway Commission, P.O. FRANCIS KEY Mrs. Francis Graham Key died at her home in Southport Wednesday. Final rites were held Friday at 3 p.m. at St. Phillip’s Episcopal Church by the Rev. W.S. Taylor with burial in Northwood Cemetery. Survivors include her mother, Mrs. Ruby Graham of the home and two daughters, Mrs. Susan Key Greason of High Point and Miss Pattie Key of the home.
