Rural Program Again In County The Brunswick County ASCS Office has announced that the 1973 Rural En vironmental Assistance Program (REAP), which was terminated in December 1972, has been reinstated. All the practices which had been approved for the 1973 program are again in effect and the program will con tinue through December 31, 1974. The cost - share rates have been increased to compensate for the increased costs since last year. Some of the practices available under this program are: A-2 — Establishing Per manent Vegetative Cover; B 7 — Water Impoundment Reservoirs; D-l — Interim Cover Crop; 1-1 — Lagoons For Animal Wastes; F-2 (C-9) —Permanent Open Drainage Systems; F-2 (C-10) — Un derground Drainage Systems. The upper floor and porches were removed from the Watson house, allowing the remainder to be moved to another part of town. Skipper III, 17, of Southport, was arrested Sunday night and charged with indecent exposure by Southport police. Arresting officer George McCracken said Southport’s first streaking incident was reported Sunday about 10:25 p.m. by Brian Grimes, proprietor of Convenient Food Mart. McCracken said another complaint was received later from the Amuzu Theatre. The boy ran naked from the store to the cinema along Howe St., McCracken reported. McCracken arrested the youth at the comer of E. Moore Street and Dry Avenue. He said the unclothed boy was in a car with three other people. Skipper was reportedly placed under $200 bond and has been scheduled for a court hearing in District Court May 21. Donald Allison Bellamy, 17, of Southport was charged by Southport police Saturday with assault and battery. He Will face a hearing in District Court next Thursday. Arresting officer was George McCracken. | John M. Miller, 23, of Southport, was arrested Tuesday by Southport police f Ocean Waves Still Dancing ? The Ocean Waves square dance club reports it will continue Friday evening meetings in the gymnasium of Southport Primary School. After Delco had gone out front, 4-2, NB scored twice in the 7th to tie the count at 4-4. Then, in the 8th, Oliver Brown walked, Floyd Gainey lived on an error and Larry Smith — who had started for AD but left in the 7th, — came back and Billy Best greeted him with his third hit to score Brown with the winning marker. Alan Crawford, who had started the 8th inning, was the losing pitcher and David Burney, who went the route was the winner for the Scorps. Billy Best hit 3 for 5, including a solo homer in the 7th; Oliver Brown had 2 for 3 for the winners, who are now 4-2 in the EWC and 7-3 overall; while Mark Bridges hit 2 for 4 and Cordell Bor deaux was 2 for 3 with a solo homer in the 6th for AD.
