D , A Rirthdaj Celebration. On the bright morn of April the 24th 1907, could be seen g't-at crowds of neighbors, relatives and friends coming from every direction to celebrate the 76th birthday of Mrs. Rebecca Redding, widow of Alexander Redding, and twin sister of ex-sheriff Benjamin Millikan. Each brought baskets and boxes filled with every good thing that could be piepared to tempt theappe tite. There were light loaves, ham, samage, beef, chickens, pickles pie-, custards and cakes of many kinds. This was all spread on u long table in the yard so every one could have free access to it. Mr. Erasmus Henley presided at the head of the table and offered a very appropriate petition, of thanks and appreciation for the comforts aud privilege of the occasion, which was being so highly enjoyed by aU. After dinner the crowd all spent a iong time in pleasant conversation.
