Houk, an attorney of this city, who is now at I.ithia Springs, Ga., states that he saw and conversed with Harvey Lo gan in Atlanta last Saturday. He states further that Logan enjoined him to say nothing about the meet ing until five days had elapsed. Ha Inferred from Logan’s conversation that the bandit proposed to sail for a foreign country. Logan is the Mon tana train robber and multi-murderer who escaped from the Knox county Jail June 27. Juvenile Cracksmen Jailed. Pen.sacola, July 11.—The police, af ter being worried for many weeks with robberies of stores, have at last succeeded in arresting the robbers. They now' have under arrest five boys, two nogroes and three white, none of whom are over 12 years of age. Some of them have acknowledged their guilt, giving the names of various stores which they have entered during the past six months, and also the ar ticles taken. Music stores, dry goods houses, and other places of l)usiness have been looted. The boys had skel eton keys of a number of places, but they were never used, except on one occasion, w'hen they entered the store of Kress & Co., on Palafax street. Will Grade Electric Line. Florence, Ala.. July 11.—The con tract for the grading of the electric railroad to be constructed between Florence. Sheffield and Tuscumbia has been awar.ied to T. M. Crow, civil engineor and contractor, of this city, and a large force has been put at tha w’ork. According to the terms of the contract the work must be completed by Decembe^ 1. The amount of Mr. Crow’s bid could not be ascertained. A cloud over the tow’n j had a perfect representation of the | bathing wharf, lighthouse and trees i on St. George’s island which is 7 or S miles from here, and are not visi ble except dimly to the eye. but in the mirage they ajvpeared plainly and seemed to be quite near. Mrs. Olsen, Missing for 21 Years, Re turns to Her Old Home. Rockford. Ills., July 11.—A woman in the role of Enoch Arden has return- '3d to Rockford after an absence of i^l years. Tnis chief figure in this history is Mrs. Louise Olsen. Twenty-one years 3Li,T) Mrs. Olsen was injured in a rail road meek near Buffalo. N. Y. She was taken to a hospital, but recovered. Her mind was not quite clear, how ever. and she waniered to France. An other ictim of the wreck died in the hos];ital and by mistake was buried as Mi*s. Olsen. When Mrs. Olsen returned lo Rock ford she found the two l)ab;es shg had lel't. Will and Frank, full grown and surprised at her return. Alex Olsen, whom he married while believ ing fuily in his ^irst wife’s death, hav ing died some years ago. Mr. Olsen fully idenrified the returr.ed one as his first wife. Savannah, Ga.. July lo.—Jbe Cohen, a negro who killed Susan Rogers, a negro woman, two years ago, was kanged here this morning.
