ICiitor Sylvan Valley Xews: Pola Miller visited the Broad Valley section last week. Lee P. Norton made a business trip, to Toxaway last week. Wake up, “Snowball.” We haven’t seen any Broad Valley Notes for some time. The Supervisors and road over seers of this section, are taking steps for better roads. Quite a number of pleasure seekers visited these parts, from South Carolina, last week. Andy Alexander and family visited friends and relativ'es in the Toxaway section last Sunday. Some of the young folks of this secti(m attended i)reaching at Oak Grove last Saturday and Sunday. The schools of this section are progressing finely. They only lack more books, but are being supplied. We are glad to see the an nouncements of Broad Valley In stitute posted in every public place in this section. Mr. Stevenson will lect- ture at the Chapel Saturday night and will prsach at 11 o'clock Sunday. Bertha Case and Allie Ownbey of the Pink Beds spent Saturday night with friends on Lamb's creek. Maud Case went to the Pink Beds Thursday and returned Saturday and reports having a jolly good time. MoHie Barnett, who has been at Brevard for quite a while, is spending a few days with her sister.
