"Quo Vadis" is a Roman play, the scene being located during the days of Caesar and early Christianity. It describes those trying times in which Paganism met its death, and Christianity began its career. The impersonations of all the characters were very fine, and the costumes, which were those of the times, were exceedingly, beautiful. The scene in which Lygia. the heroine, was rescued from j the horns of the wild bull by j Ursus her giant slave, was thrilling and highly dramatic. Our town has never seen a more moral and instructive en tertainment. VALUABLE LOTS FOR SALE.
