UK U, 1W7 That tuberculosis la one of the war problems of the United States goes without saying; in fact, it la a serious problem which is growing more serious year af ter year in this as well as other countries. It baffles the brains of oar lenders in times of peace and is even worse in times of war. Wc have recently heard It said that camp life—the soldiers life —os helpful or curative to one tuberculous, but if r*»a* state ment is true, then our State Boar i' of Health is all wrong. The Board has recently issued a bulletin, sent out by Dr. L. B. Me Bray er, who is at the head of the bureau of tuberculosis In North Carolina, In whieh many statements are made which are alarming. We have not the space to discuss these matters fa this little paper hut if the facts, as given in the bulletin, are true, and we have no reason to doubt them, those who ere in charge of examining applicants for enlist ment cannot be too carcfuL Bet ter get a copy of this bulletin from Dr. L B.
