Mat thews and waa warmly received, for a discussion of this talented and dis tinguished daughter of North Caro lina is a welcome topic In any club within Its borders. McMurray, being unable to attend the meeting, sent a very fine paper on "Edward Kid der Graham" which was read by Mra. W. H. Fitzgerald.
