TRIPLE WEDDING TAKES PEACE IN GEORGIA A triple wedding occurred at Gaines ville, Ga„ Saturday, June 18, when Miss Helen Fisher and J. B. Hall; Miss Marie McCall and Almond Hall; Miss Lucy Johnson and Howard Hall, all of Lake Toxaway and Gloucester section, were married, Mrs. J. B. Hall Is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Granville Fisher, grad uated from Rosrnan high school In the class of 1937. Mr. Hall, a son of Mrs. Hilliard Hall and the late Mr. Hall, graduated from Rosrnan high school. Mrs. Aimond Halt Is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Allen McCall, and Mr. Hall is the son of Mr. and Mrs. J. T. Hall. M s. TREASURE HUNT AND PICTURES HONOR GEORGIA VISITOR HERE Mrs. Joe E. Osborne entertained with a motion picture party and treasure hunt at her home on Main street. Tuesday evening, honoring her nephew, Donald Jennings, of Americus, Ga. The living room was decorated with sweet peas and greenery. The treasure, a box of candy was found by Miss Laura Pharr and Archie Whitmire. A delicious ice course was served. Guests present were as fol lows: Donald Jennings, Dovie White. Austin Hogsed. WEDDING OP INTEREST IN SOUTH CAROLINA A wedding of interest to a number of Rosman residents occurred in Pick ens, S. C., Saturday, June 11, when Miss Junie Vlrgie Callaham and Claud Mauldin were married. Mrs. Mauldin is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. C. Callaham, of Westmins ter, S. C. She is a sister of Floyd Cal laham and nelce of Mrs. C. E. Leathers residing in Rosman. Mr. Mauldin is a native of Six Mile. S. C. ME8SAOE TEIJA OF DEATH OF BROTHER Mrs. Paul Rogers, of Rosman, has received a message telling of the death of her brother, Hilliard Patterson, 35 years old, in Honolulu. June 6. The body will arrive the last of the month, and funeral services will be held near Salem, S. C., former home of Mr. Patterson. Mr. Patterson was a member of the U. S. Army and was well known In Rosman having a number of relatives here. MILES INFANT WAS BURIED THURSDAY Newland, infant son of Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Miles, died at the home of Its parents, Wednesday, June 16th. Fun eral services were conducted Thursday at the Zion church, and burial was In the Whitmire cemetery. Surviving relatives are the parents and four brothers and sisters. FUNERAL SERVICE FOR MURPHY INFANT WAS HELD MONDAY The Infant daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Hillard Murphy died in a car Sunday en route from the home to the doctor's office. Death was due to colitis. Funeral services were held 'Monday at 2 o’clock at Old Toxaway, conducted by Rev. Nathan Chapman.
