Only relatives and close friends of the couple were In attend ance. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E. A. Glazener, of Rosman, is a graduate of Rosman high school and of Asheville Teachers college, und for the past two years has been teaching in the Saluda school at Saluda. Mr. Klzer, formerly of Greenville, S. C., is a graduate of Furman University, Greenville, S. C., the Southwestern Baptist Seminary, Fort Worth Texas, and the Moody Bible Institute, Chicago, 111. He Is now pastor of Saluda Bap tist church at Saluda. The couple will reside on Laurel drive. Saluda. SINGING SCHOOL COMES TO SUCCESSFUL CLOSE A very successful two weeks singing school closed at Zion Baptist church Friday night with a concert. The school was taught by Prof. W. L. Harmon, was well attended and very Interesting. The class attended the singing at Carrs Hill church Sunday. REVIVAL TO BEGIN AT ZION BAPTIST CHURCH Revival services will begin at Zion Baptist church the first Sunday In February, conducted by the pastor, the Rev. M. E. Summey. assisted by local preachers. His condition was serious at last reports. Mr. and Mrs. Dan Reid have recent ly returned home from an extended motor trip. We heard as far South as Key West, Fla., but have not had the pleasure of seeing them since their re turn. A fine calf that belonged to Mrs. Mary Burgess was Instantly killed Sat urday morning by a reckless driver, who did not even stop to learn what he had done Jim Galloway, Frank Bryson and Woodrow Fowler, of Glenvllle, called on friends here Friday en route to Clcm8on College, S. C. Waite Reid was taken to Six Mile hospital last week for treatment. His wife and sons. Ford and T. W., his daughter, Mrs. H. A. Pell, and Mr. Pell, his sister,. Mrs. Maggie Nicholson, and Miss Gladys McCall visited him Sunday and reported that he seems to be Improving. Ed Bryson has been quite 111 but Is reported to be better. J. B. Galloway, of Glenvllle, spent Friday here with his sister, Mrs. Mary Burgess, and family. Cecil, small son of Mr. and Mrs. I. S. Sanders, had to miss school Friday and Monday on account of a sore arm from vaccination. He greatly regret ted missing, for this Is his first school year and he was trying to make a per fect attendance Mrs. Wesley Reed, of Lake Toxaway. spent Sunday afternoon here with her brother, I. S. Sanders, and family. She reported her mother, Mrg. S. L. San ders, to be very well. Miss Louise Jennings arrived here last week to spend some time with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lee Jennings. Miss Sadie Beddlngfleld, of Boheney. visited Miss Wllla Beth Reid Sunday afternoon. Mr. and Mrs. Louis Owen spent Sun day at Lake Toxaway with the latter's parents. Mr. and Mrs. Dock Banther. Dewitt Bryson and son of near Bro vard were here last week for a short visit to his brother, R. L. Bryson, who has been 111 for some time.
