They were chap eroned by Mesdames P. D. Harrill, Sr., and Minnie Blanton. In ad dition Vo their picnic lunch, they carried frying pans and sausage and had a jolly time cooking part of their dinned out doors. NOTHING COMPARES WITH CHEVROLET HALLOWEEN PARTY West Main street was a very "spooky" part of town Tuesday night. Big ghosts and little ghosts and lean ghosts, gay ghosts and solemn ghosts marched slowly up the street and assembled in Mr. J. F. Weather's front yard, Flay, having turned into a ghost himself, was entertaining his friends. First they enjoyed games and contests, then they were ser ved pop corn, candy and fruits, three things of which young ghosts are especially fond. Later they were taken to a drug store and served ice cream. Those present were John and Rudolph, Blanton, Carter and Farmer Thomas, Fred Blanton, Chas. Ford, Chas. Hemphill, Kenneth Bostic, Horace Yelton, Boyce Covington, Jr., Evelyn Blanton, Kathrine Har rill, Mildred Moore and Bernice Kanipe.
