Misses Dora and Lillerree Tanner whc have been attending school at Brevard Institute, have returned home. Miss Dora graduated there this .year. # Miss Pantha Thompson was the dinner guest of Miss Belle Wilkie, Sunday. Mr. R- F. Hines, spent one night l a t week with his sister, Mrs. John Harrison and Mr. Harrison of Spar tanburg. Mrs. J. B. Taylor spent Sunday v -ith Mr. and Mrs. Robert Owensby. Mr. J. T. Nichols who has bean very ill is improving we are glad tj note ' Little Miss F?oy KJennedy spent last week with her grand parents, Mr and Mrs. T. D. Kennedy. Mr. Riley Padgett and family of ne ai Harris were visitor at Mr. T. E Randall's one day last week. Mr. and Mrs. T. D. Kennedy and Misses Ola and Eunice Kennedy wer^ 1 visitors in Columbus last Sunday af ternoon. Miss Mary Randall spent Tuesday night with her cousin Miss Belle Wil kie. Several from this community at tended the preaching service at Mills Springs. Sunday. Those visiting at Mr. L. D. Wil kie'-. Saturday night were Mr. Geo. Mr. Charlie Kimbrell who has been ill with fever for some time is im proving his friends will be glad to hear. Mr. Woodrow Harris was the guest of Miss Ila Mae Hopper, Saturday night. Mr. Osborne Morrow of Spindale, was a visitor in this community, Sunday. Mr. Oscar Mossey and family spent Sunday at Mr. Zeno Hoppers. Mrs. Paul Turner was carried to the hospital at Spartanburg last Wednesday. Her friends hope she will soon be well again. Mrs. E. L. Cudd spent last week with her mother, Mrs. Lane of Ches nee. Mrs. Donnie Scruggs is very ill in the General hospital at Spartan burg. her friends hope for her a speedy recovery.
