Auto Tags Bought By Car Weight Now No motorist can secure a 1932 state license tag for his automobile without first obtaining his regis tration card from Raleigh, Carolina Motor club officials here have been informed by Sprague Silver, head of the state motor bureau. The state official emphasized that license plates are not to be is sued to motorists bringing in their titles without the cards from Ra leigh. This is because of the new weight classifications to be in ef fect in 1932, when the tags will be charged for according to the weight of the machine on which they are to be used. All weight classifica tions must be determined by the state office at Raleigh and placed on the registration cards, which in turn are to be presented at the branch offices of the motor club when the motorist seeks to purchase a tag. "I'm glad we have a Telephone again" A number of people who gave up their telephones during the stress of the twelve months have told us that this proved to be false economy and they have had their service restored. Those who have not had their service reinstalled, and those who may be hesitating about having a telephone of their own are reminded that telephone service is no longer regarded as an expense, but is considered a necessary home convenience and economy. „ i No ° ther money you spend can bring you more actual Tu- j Sa telephone subscribers know the truth of this. They do not consider their telephone statement as a "bill," but rather as a reminder of pleasanter living and broadened opportunities. Those who have previously enjoyed telephone service ap preciate it more than ever; new subscribers wonder how thev ever did without it. y Telephone service costs so little and the advantages are so many that it really doesn't pay to try to do without it.
