Lionel and Haywood Mur dock of Wildwood who are at work over here spent the week end at homo and returned Sunday afternoon. Dr. R. A. Smith of Goldsboro was here a few days last week, and re turned home Monday. He spent a short while at E. F. Carraways Sun day evening. Mr. Turner Stewart of Morehead City was the guest of Miss Louise El liott Saturday nightand Sunday. Mrs. Bessie Elliott of this place was the guest of Mrs. G. C. Pollard Sunday evening. ' We had our "Washington Day" ex ercises after Sunday School. The children did their parts very nicely and patriotic songs were sung by the choir. All seemed to enjoy it. Mr. W. E.
