Wake Will Contest
State Highway Case
RALEIGH, Sept. 2 The Wake
County Board of Commissioners have
definitely decided to Qarry Wake
County's restraining case against the
State Highway Commission to the
State Supreme Court.
The commissioners plan to con
tinue the long court battle to prevent
the adoption by the State of three
highways in the county and appeal
from the decision of Judge N. A. Sin
clair, who sided with the contentions
of the state highway commission in
the matter.
The three hichway routes which the
rnnntv would nrevent the state from
taking ever are those leading from
Raleigh to Creedmore, Wake forest
to Durham County line, and from
Wrwin to Cardenas.
May had a little dress,
A dainty bit and airy;
It didn't show the dirt a bit,
But gosh, how it showed Mary!
