It is likely that the range light will burn permanently when navigation to and from the port justifies it. A suit by Konstantinos Palaskus, third assistant engineer on the late S. S. Tzenny Chandris of Chios, Greece which sank off Cape Hatteras on No vember 13th during a southeast gale, asking $7,300 damages for persona! loss and injury was placed on file in Federal court at Norfolk last Satui day, according to a United Press dis patch from that city. The suit was filed against John Chandris, Pireaus. Greece, owner of the illfated vessel, and charges were made that the Tzenny Chandris was unseaworthy and overloaded. The ves sel had been loaded with a cargo said by port officials to have been exactly 7,f4') t.. in Morehead City. She cleaied from the local port on Armistice Day about noon, bound for Rettcrdam in The Netherlands. It v. as stated in the Norfolk dispatch that the vessel began listing in the rough seas off Hatteras and finally sank. The actual time of the sinking was just before day break on Satur day, Nov. 13.
