THE UNSEEN DANGER. The great ship, Titanic was considered the safest ship in the world. It was considered absolutely unsinkable. Doubtless, not a passenger on board had the slightest danger as he entered this gigantic floating palace. He felt absolutely safe. No disaster of wind, fire or water could befall him. * The unseen danger often lurks in apparent ly the safest places. Man’s ing:enuity cannot forestall it; no man can foresee it; Therefore, the wisest thing a man ckn do is to have his affairs in such condition at all times that, in the event of sudden death, his estate will be wound up exactly as he would wish. Friendship Not vs'Gniham. Graham May 13.- In your is sue of April 27, there is a write up of a track meet between Gra ham and Friendship, in which is stated that Friendship defeats Graham by a score of 65 to 14. There was no fairness what ever in this write up for the rea son that it was not regarded by me or our students as a meet, but a practice. So we take the article as a misrepresentation of the real facts. Our understand ing was that Friendship would come over and practice with our boys in order that we might create more interest in field sports jwre. The^Graham boys had had no practice in the following; Pole vault, shot put, hammer, high jump, and I might say broad jump. We had practice in runf ning, the,jn(»t of our time was jg^ven to basd-ball. -WMle t am writing I wish to, say tl^ cou^sts; between schools; Shc^ld be represented by bona- fide students and not by out-side student who cause a school to be misrepr^nted.
