We are not publishing a church newspaper, but it is always in order to do or say anything that will help mankind. We wish that all the fathers and mothers of our town could have heard the 862 mon last Sunday morning at the Presbyterian church of oub town, not for its eloquence or or- tory, but for its force from the life of Eli in his acts of omission in properly rearing his own chil dren. It's a sad picture to be» hold, our moral life, when it be comes necessary for our Sunday Schools and our day schools have to give the training to the boys and giris of our town that should be given at home. But it’s no wonder thait children are not trained at home, when we see the number of lads that are on the streets every night. Re store home life and home train ing and the Sunday School will be without employment. Train the children at home and you will assist the graded school teachers in thjir daily task. Train your children at home, instead of letting the street loafer train them for us and you will have nothing to regret in mature years. The home-trained boy or girl nev er brings down sorrow or disgrace on the heads of their parents in after years. “Honor thy father and thy mother that the days may be long in the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee.” Waller lojunction. Well boys, we are still doing business in the same old way, in the same place, and under the same organization, and we dis close no secret when we say to you that we are going to keep going, for there is no ju.st cause why we shsuld not contrive. Last Monday night was the time to liear the prayers of the petitioner for a restraining order for the Dispatch, but the peti tioner prayed the second time, and his prayer was that he might have two weeks more time in wl'iich to isociu'e more prayers with which to rebut the acts an.J facts of t?je State Dis patch Publishing Co.
